I apologize for originally posting this under "General Information".
There was a buffet restaurant in Ottawa, Canada, which my brother's friend used to frequent. He would pay the $10.00 fee, find a table, get a plate, and head up to the rotating buffet. Once there he would fill his plate with fried chicken then return to the table. Once there he would dump the chicken into a sports bag which he had hidden under the table. This procedure was repeated until the bag was full. After this, he would stuff himself with whatever other crap he wanted and then leave with his booty.
This isn't a restaurant "horror story", but it is a true story.
