A couple of friends and I were in a Denny's restaurant. My friend ordered a batch of their chicken fingers (which until this incident I myself enjoyed on numerous occasions). Apparently the chicken that Denny's uses is not the precooked, just reheat it kind, but fresh (frozen maybe) chicken. As my friend bit into the first delicious morsel we were all surprised by a nice little pool of blood spilling onto his plate. Apparently (according to the manager who gave us all our food for free plus three free breakfasts a piece) there was an air pocket inside the chicken where the blood was pooled and did not cook. |
