In the movie The Hitcher staring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Rutger Hauer there is a, shall we say, very interesting scene at a road side diner (i.e. Truck Stop). The psychopathic hitch-hiking Rutger Hauer cuts off someones fingers and throw them into the deep fryer with some french frys behind the scenes. Jennifer manages to server these finger fries to our unsuspecting main character who almost eats a finger before realizing something is afoot. Watch the movie and keep on eye on your plate when stopping by one of these rode side diners cause you never know what goes in the deep fryer. Or for that matter how long the grease has been used--ugh.
