This incident happens in the beginning of the movie, just after all the lab Hamsters escapes.

Professor Klump is in the deans office being yelled at when a Hamster defecates from a chandelier which lands in the deans coffee. Sure enough he took a sip of the coffee and noticed a strange taste. I believe he called his secretary in to complain about the awful coffee.
