Hi All!
I just got done buying Mindcandy from Animationtrip.com. Awesome video! While browsing around their site I found a load of other video clips from similar videos/DVDs. You could spend all day watching cool stuff on their site! You can find them all at http://www.animationtrip.com/films
Also, if you like the computer animation and graphics in Mindcandy, then I suggest taking a look at the "Mind's Eye Series" (also on Animationtrip). There are some clips of it there. Here are the clips from "Odyssey Into The Mind's Eye": Mind's Eye clips (my favorite). If you want to see the rest of the videos in the series they are here: Mind's Eye Series.
Anyone else seen the Mind's Eye Series or anything similar? |

Those are very good but a lot of the stuff is quite old and of course done by professionals, animation programs. Demos are created by amatures and done via programming. There is nothing else like it out there. What comes close is other computer animation done in music video fashion. Stuff released by moonshine records for example.
Another good place to visit: http://www.microcinema.com which carries a lot of film, and computer graphic type stuff.
Also: http://www.eoptica.com/visuals/
And check out VJTV http://www.vjtv.net/now_playing/ (usually on those cable access channels in certain cities) which is electronic music set to computer graphics, animations, pictures. Very visual but sometimes too much so.
Amazing what is out there and growing quite a bit.
