Good news folks!
We finally pushed a release candidate of MC2 out the door. This is a first cut at the DVD provided to all those who worked on it to preview and find/fix errors. And I'm talking about the PAL version.
We are hoping to have the DVD complete and ready for pressing at the end of this month. This includes all the art, PAL and NTSC version.
Sceners and people on the reservation list will likely get an e-mail towards the end of November to pre-order prior to the official release date. So, if you are looking for a Christmas gift, that is what we are shooting for as well.
Stay tuned,

The PAL disc is pretty much done. We sent it to Dolby for evaluation and it took a couple weeks but we got feedback on the disc and made a few changes to meet their requirements on a diagnormal setting.
The NTSC disc is almost done, but will need evaluated. We will try to get an early release of both discs out late December. Official launch/release will be mid January. If you are on the reservation list (demodvd.org) you will be notified about 1 week in advance so you can pre-order the DVD.
I expect to submit all the art to the DVD replicators next week. Before thanksgiving we should have a check disc of the PAL DVD. We are on roughly the same schedule as we were for MC1 four years ago.

I expect to drop off the NTSC version of the disc tomorrow. Give a week for printing and another week for pressing the DVD's and a few days for shipping and we are looking good to hit our target to ship by late December.
We are slightly behind our MC1 schedule four years ago thus our expected pre-order date will be a few weeks later.
