TOXIC ZOMBIES

TOXIC IMAGE

Toxic Zombies was the name of the PC demo group I belonged to a long time ago. The only demo/intro we produced is called UNDEAD. However, as a Toxic Zombies member I did help another group with a diskmag called MAYHEM .

These days several ex Toxic Zombies members can be found doing games for Webfoot Technologies.

My major accomplishments in the demo community include creating the first internet demo site in September 1992 (which eventually became Hornet), and producing two demo scene CD's--Escape (1994) and Freedom(1995). Beyond that I have written articles for DemoNews, Imphobia, Trax Weekly, and several others scene related publications.

Back in the Summer of 1993 I worked on a demo article for an upcoming Dr. Dobb's Journal multimedia issue. Unfortunately it never made it to publication. During the same Summer I came in contact with a person who was going to help me achieve my dream of doing a demo book. If the proposal was accepted I would get $2000-$5000 in advance then receive about 8-10% in royalities for the first 5000 books sold (not too impressive). Somehow or another the book deal never panned out.

It wasn't until two years later when I was working on the Freedom CD that I decided that I was going to write up a small DEMOBOOK and include it with the CD. I think you will enjoy the results.

Taking a step back in time I actually worked on a few C64 Demos before I ever discovered the PC scene. My full collection can be run by the C64S emulator. The quality isn't quite up to par with what you may be use to so don't download the file and expect anything amazing.
